The Dyfi Osprey Project

The Dyfi Osprey Project is one of Montgomeryshire Wildlife Trusts flagship projects based on our Cors Dyfi Reserve near Machynlleth on the west coast of mid Wales.

Guided Walks

Join us for an easy walk along the board walks of Cors Dyfi to the 360 Observatory. Learn more about the plants and animals that live here and the history of the reserve. Please bring binoculars if you have them and dress for the weather. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

The addition of a 4K camera to the nest early in 2016 meant we were able to see even more detail of the lives of the Dyfi ospreys when Monty and Glesni arrived within hours of each other in early April.
